For nearly three decades, Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has worked in close partnership with the Ministry of Health
(MoH) of Uzbekistan to transform tuberculosis (TB) care in the Republic of Karakalpakstan in the west of the country. Through its longstanding presence in Uzbekistan, MSF has contributed significantly to both the national and global fight against TB by promoting a person-centred model of care, strengthening local healthcare systems through capacity building, and investing in innovative research and development.
This report showcases all the research done in the project and highlights eight research projects that had the most impact.
